EpicContext Documentation

Learn how to use EpicContext to manage your product context documentation and empower AI agents with structured knowledge.

Welcome to the EpicContext documentation. EpicContext is the product context engine that helps teams structure, manage, and share their product knowledge with both humans and AI agents.

What is EpicContext?

EpicContext is a structured documentation platform designed for product teams. It stores your product context — brand guidelines, user personas, technical architecture, feature specs, and more — in a format that both your team and AI agents can consume.

Store structured data, generate multiple outputs

Your content lives as structured blocks in a database. From there, EpicContext generates:

  • Web UI — forms and views for your team to edit
  • Markdown — human-readable documentation
  • llms.txt — optimized context for AI agents
  • JSON API — programmatic access for integrations

Key Features

  • Sections & Blocks — Organize content into logical sections (Brand, Product, Users, Technical, etc.) with typed blocks
  • Progress Tracking — See what's complete and what's missing at a glance
  • AI-Ready Exports — Connect AI coding agents via MCP or generate exports they understand
  • Team Collaboration — Invite team members with role-based access
  • Widget — Embed product context in your application for user stories, feedback, and stakeholder collaboration
  • CONTEXT Folder Sync — Sync documentation to a local folder for AI agent consumption

How It Works

Request a demo

Request a demo from our homepage. We'll set up your organization and get your team started with EpicContext.

Fill in your context

Use the web editor to fill in blocks within each section. Each block has a defined structure so your content stays consistent.

Connect your AI agents

Set up the MCP server so your AI coding agents have live access to your product context while they work.

Already using AI coding agents?

Check out the AI Coding Agents guide to connect your agent to EpicContext via the MCP server.
